Job Title: Assistant Safety Manager – Construction / Contracting

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive Assistant Safety Manager to support the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across construction projects. The candidate will assist in ensuring compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices to maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining HSE policies and procedures on-site
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits
• Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly
• Support incident/accident investigations and prepare reports
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions
• Monitor compliance with PPE usage and safety regulations
• Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe work practices
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and liaise with authorities such as Dubai Municipality
• Support emergency preparedness and response planning
