Job Title: Assistant sales Manager- Banquet

Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify and pursue new corporate, travel, MICE, and leisure business opportunities.
  • Conduct sales calls, property visits, and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of leads and convert them into confirmed business.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Develop account plans and ensure consistent engagement with key accounts.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, negotiate rates, and prepare proposals and contracts.

3. Sales Planning & Reporting

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management.

4. Coordination & Collaboration

  • Work with operations, reservations, banquet, and F&B teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Coordinate site inspections, familiarization trips (FAM), and promotional events.
  • Support marketing initiatives and participate in trade shows and exhibitions.

5. Revenue & Rate Management

  • Recommend pricing strategies and promotional offers based on market demand.
  • Ensure proper implementation of contracted rates and packages.
  • Monitor business mix to maximize occupancy and revenue.

Skills & Qualifications Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of sales experience, ideally in the hospitality industry (hotel experience is a plus).

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel PMS/CRM systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
