Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Assistant Salon Manager who is also a licensed Cosmetologist, Esthetician, or Wax Technician. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in body waxing and sugaring, with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE SUGARING

Responsibilities

• Provide full-body waxing and sugaring services with a focus on client comfort and satisfaction
• Train and mentor new team members in waxing and sugaring techniques
• Perform additional beauty services, including eyelash lifts, brow laminations, and lash/brow tinting
• Assist with payroll duties and reporting every other week
• Support location accounting, retail sales, and client billing tasks
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized salon environment in line with health and safety standards
• Contribute to the salon’s social media presence by creating content and engaging with clients online
• Promote and sell retail products with a full understanding of benefits and usage
• Deliver excellent customer service and foster lasting client relationships

Qualifications

• Valid Esthetics or Cosmetology license in Virginia
• Sugaring experience highly preferred (minimum training available)
• Minimum 1–2 years of waxing experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks independently
• Proficiency with salon software such as Square or similar systems
• Knowledge of skincare products and treatments
• Ability to work some evenings and every other weekend
