Job Title: Assistant Scheduler
Department: Production
Reports To: Production & Scheduling Manager
ROLE:
You will help schedule our shop! Our order fulfillment process typically starts with sales orders coming in and jobs being created to satisfy them. Engineering will establish the initial schedule, but once the jobs hit the floor, often things need to be adjusted. That’s where you come in. You’ll help our Scheduling Manager finetune job schedules pulling them in or pushing them out, expediting jobs falling behind, and various other activities scheduling related to optimizing the flow. Expect to also spend time on the floor verifying the system matches reality and resolving hiccups. When it comes to scheduling a job shop, there are always hiccups.
