Assistant Security Officer

Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO), an integrated energy conglomerate, is a Joint Venture between Pakistan and Emirate of Abu Dhabi. PARCO is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Security Officer .

Qualification and Competencies:

• Minimum Intermediate or equivalent.
• Should have good knowledge of computer handling & MS Office.
• Implement plans and coordinate the Security of installation and Pipeline network and will report to Security Officer.
• Assists Security Officer on all the Security matters/ planning.
• Ensures that all the security orders are adhered to all.
• Have knowledge of security subjects with professional courses from JLA, Int and Logistic School preferably.
• Be able to prepare duty roster according to deployment plan.
• Can effectively conduct security training.
• Be able to coordinate with Police / Investigation Officer for follow up of cases.
• To act as complainant in lodgment of FIRs, when required.

Experience:

• Up to 20 years of relevant experience.
• Retired Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) from the Armed Forces, preferably from Fighting Arms.
• Experience serving in a similar role at a large installation or security setup.
• Field intelligence experience will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Security of PARCO installation/s.
• Ensure effective access control through implementation of Security Policy/Orders/Instructions.
• Ensure implementation of security SOPs and guidelines.
• Ensure implementation of prepared security and surveillance plan for the installations and pipeline.
• Ensure discipline, performance, turn out and administration of the Security Staff.
• Ensure integrity of “Right of Way” (ROW) and guard against any encroachment/s.
• Take measures to secure Pipelines from pilferage, sabotage and any other threat.
• Comply with legal requirements/local regulations and coordinate/cooperate with Government and LEAs.
• Maintain liaison with local Police, LEAs, Rescue 1122, and Intelligence Agencies.
• Coordinate with police and ensure security of foreigners visiting PARCO installation/s.
• Lodging of FIR, crime scene visits and monitor process of investigation.
• Meet KPID security protocols as per the categorization of PARCO Installation/s.

Specific Skills:

• Should be physically fit (Cat-A).
• Should have experience in the field of Security.
• Be able to coordinate with Law Enforcing Agencies.
• Strong report writing and documentation skills.
• Good PR & GR matters.
• Willingness to serve at any company location across Pakistan.
