Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3 -5 years of experience in SEO, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and team management abilities.

Preferred:

Experience in managing large content websites.

Knowledge of paid search and digital marketing integration.

Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as it relates to SEO.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Assistant SEO Manager to manage and guide our SEO team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, technical SEO, content strategy, and performance analytics. The Assistant SEO Manager will drive the growth of organic traffic, improve search rankings, and optimize content performance across our platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & Management

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SEO specialists.

Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor the performance of team members.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to ensure growth and development.


2. SEO Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, search rankings, and conversion rates.

Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.

Optimize website structure, internal linking, and on-page content for SEO performance.

Work closely with content, social media, and technical teams to align SEO with overall marketing goals.


3. Technical SEO & Website Optimization

Audit websites for technical SEO issues and implement solutions (site speed, crawlability, schema, mobile optimization, etc.).

Collaborate with developers to fix technical SEO problems and improve site performance.


4. Analytics & Reporting

Monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.

Prepare regular reports and dashboards on organic traffic, keyword rankings, and other KPIs.

Use data-driven insights to improve strategy and decision-making.


5. Stakeholder Collaboration

Collaborate with Content, Social Media, and Product teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated and contribute to content ideation and strategy.

Coordinate with external agencies or vendors as needed for SEO campaigns or audits.
