Position Overview:

As an assistant service manager at Jack Daniels Audi, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers bringing in their Audi vehicles for maintenance and repairs. You will provide excellent customer service, manage service appointments, communicate vehicle issues clearly, and ensure that every customer has an outstanding experience. The ideal candidate will be organized, knowledgeable about Audi vehicles, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and assess their service needs by listening carefully to their concerns.
  • Provide accurate, thorough, and transparent explanations of required repairs and service recommendations.
  • Create repair orders and schedule service appointments efficiently.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles, ensuring timely updates and clear communication.
  • Review completed work with customers, explain any additional services provided, and process the final invoice.
  • Upsell additional services and maintenance options based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and filed properly.
  • Collaborate with technicians and service team members to ensure a seamless experience for the customer.
  • Maintain a clean and organized service area while adhering to dealership policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Service Manager, Service Writer, or in an automotive customer-facing role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems, with a strong understanding of Audi vehicles being a major plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to clearly explain technical details to customers.
  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and stay organized in a busy environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • A professional, polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with service management software.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
