Job Summary
The After School Program Assistant Site Lead supports the daily operations of the after-school program under the supervision of the Site Lead and Expanded Learning Director. The Assistant Site Lead will assist with planning, implementing, and supervising academic and enrichment activities for TK-6th grade students if assigned to an elementary school site, or 7th-12th grade students in assigned to our middle/high school campus. In addition, they must assist Site Lead with ensuring their program is in alignment with Aspen Public Schools, ELOP, and ASES guidelines for after-school programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support Site Lead with daily operations of the after-school program.
- Assist with preparing and leading enrichment activities and events.
- Help maintain accurate records, including student sign-in/out sheets, attendance, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with Aspen after-school staff, Tutors, and vendor partners that will be servicing our students.
- Assist after-school staff and tutors with lesson planning, supply orders, and activity coordination.
- Take on special projects, such as short-term teaching assignments, event planning, and vendor communications.
- Communicate with parents about student participation, behavior, and after-school activities.
- Help ensure Aspen’s Day School and After-School Program behavior policies and safety procedures.
- Ensure adherence to Aspen behavior expectations and safety procedures.
- Assist with programming during ELOP non-school day programs during (Fall, Winter, Summer).
- Collaborate with day school staff and administration as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year of tutoring/classroom aide experience or Associate’s Degree (AA) required.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Google Suite.
- TB test clearance (current).
- Livescan fingerprint background check clearance.
- Valid CA Driver’s LicenseRequirements / Qualifications

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
