Coastal Current Boutique is growing, and we’re looking for a polished, motivated, and creative Assistant Store Managerto help lead our team and elevate both the in-store and online experience. This role is ideal for someone who loves fashion, delivers exceptional service, and thrives in a fast-paced, content-driven boutique environment.

Important: This position requires prior experience with social media, Canva, and Shopify. If you do not have experience in these areas, please forgo applying, as these skills are essential to this role.

What You’ll Do:

• Support daily store operations, including opening and closing duties
• Deliver white-glove customer service and elevated personal styling experiences
• Help lead, motivate, and support the sales team
• Assist with merchandising, floor sets, and inventory organization
• Create, edit, and post engaging social media content (photos, videos, stories, reels, etc.)
• Use Canva to design marketing graphics, promos, and content
• Use Shopify for product uploads, inventory updates, and online order support
• Model and photograph new arrivals or style others for content creation
• Assist with live sales, promotions, pop-ups, and special events
• Help maintain Coastal Current’s brand standards in-store and online
• Step in as store lead when the owner is away
• Assist with event setup, breakdown, and in-store resets

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven social media experience is required
• Experience using Instagram, Facebook, stories, reels, and content creation tools
• Working knowledge of Canva and Shopify
• Comfortable taking photos, videos, and being on camera
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
• Strong sense of personal style and the ability to confidently style others
• Clean, appropriate, and fashionable appearance that reflects the Coastal Current brand
• Ability to lift, move, and assist with setup for events and pop-ups
• Leadership mindset with strong organization and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Must love dogs — our shop pups are part of the Coastal Current family

Schedule & Availability:

• Flexible availability required, including weekends and special events
• Hours may vary based on store needs and promotions
