About the Role:
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Newport. This is a key leadership role that supports the owner and helps manage daily operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership of essential responsibilities that keep the store running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the sales team on the floor to ensure a welcoming, high-service retail environment
• Oversee product receiving and inventory processing
• Merchandize new product arrivals and maintain visual standards on the sales floor
• Manage daily cash handling, register reconciliation, and weekly bank deposits
• Oversee online order fulfillment and ensure timely, accurate shipping
• Partner with the owner on scheduling, communication, and team coordination

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous retail or management experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and communicate effectively
• Comfortable learning POS systems and online order platforms
• Dependable, proactive, and solutions-oriented
• Flexible availability, 3–5 shifts per week (must include weekends and some opening/closing shifts)

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
