Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing store operations and achieving sales targets.
• Supervise and train staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service.
• Handle cash register operations and manage cash handling procedures accurately.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Develop training programs for new employees to enhance their skills and performance.
• Implement organizational strategies to improve store efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager on budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on store goals.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Proficiency in cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
• Experience in training development and team management is highly desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and decision-making within the store environment.
