Assistant Storekeeper

About the Role

Assists storekeeper to take care of and maintain stores stock, including ordering, receiving and managing inventory.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining organized and clean storerooms that are properly labeled.
• Protecting and safeguarding products.
• Assisting storekeeper with stores stock management.
• Ordering, receiving, and managing inventory.
• Performing other related duties as assigned or as directed.
• Understanding that the omission of specific duties does not exclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
• Familiarity with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and the SEMS.
• Carrying out the policies and procedures appropriate for his position.

Qualifications

Ability to learn and develop to be Storekeeper.

Education

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Required Skills

Good computer skills, in particular word, excel, outlook and a knowledge of warehouse systems
