Assistant Supply Chain Management

Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated Assistant SCM with an MBA in Supply Chain Management (SCM). This role is ideal for freshers who are eager to build their career in aviation supply chain management. The candidate will support procurement, logistics, inventory control, supplier management, purchase budgeting, and creditor payment records. The role requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and enthusiasm to learn in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective procurement of raw materials and components.

2. Coordinate with suppliers for timely order placement, follow-ups, and deliveries.

3. Develop vendor relationships, monitor supplier performance, and ensure quality compliance.

4. Maintain purchase budgets, supplier records, and ensure timely vendor payments.

5. Oversee inventory control, warehousing, and periodic audits to prevent shortages/excess stock.

6. Manage logistics, ensuring timely delivery, cost optimization, and compliance with import/export regulations.

7. Ensure all supply chain activities meet aerospace and defense regulatory, quality, and documentation standards.

8. Collaborate with internal teams (sales, stores, and operations) to ensure smooth material flow.

9. Prepare and maintain MIS reports on supply chain operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• MBA in Supply Chain Management (freshers are encouraged to apply).
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of procurement, inventory, and logistics processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (preferred).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work under timelines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
