Assistant Swimming Pool Technician

<Responsibilities>

• Assist with routine pool opening, closing and vinyl liner and cover installations. some of the many tasks including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces to maintain water clarity and hygiene.
• Support the inspection and maintenance of pool equipment such as filters, pumps, heaters, and chlorination systems.
• Use hand tools and power tools to perform minor repairs or adjustments on pool machinery and related equipment.
• Help with water testing procedures to monitor chemical levels, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Follow safety protocols during all tasks to prevent accidents or hazards around the pool area.
• Collaborate with senior technicians to troubleshoot issues and learn best practices for pool care.

<Skills> desired but not required. We will train!

• A valid driver’s license is required, preferably with a good driving record.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of pool systems and equipment components.
• Experience or familiarity with equipment repair and troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of pool maintenance routines including cleaning, chemical balancing, and water testing.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Prior service technician experience or related background is a plus but not required; again, training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for record keeping.
• Willingness to learn new skills rapidly in a fast-paced environment.
