Position Overview:

We are seeking a Part-Time Assistant Teacher (afternoon) to join our team starting August 2026.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, values relationships, and wants to be part of a thoughtful, team-oriented program. Assistant Teachers support the classroom team in creating a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the lead teachers in daily classroom routines and activities
• Engage with children in meaningful, responsive ways
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment
• Collaborate with a team of teachers to support children’s development and learning
• Assist with transitions, outdoor play, and end-of-day routines

Qualifications:

Candidates must have one of the following:

• Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• OR
• Associate’s Degree in a related field with a minimum of 12 credits in Early Childhood EducationWe are looking for someone who:
