Job Summary

We are seeking a caring, motivated, and organized Assistant Teacher to support classroom instruction and help create a positive learning environment for students. The Assistant Teacher will work closely with the Lead Teacher to support academic activities, classroom management, and student development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering lessons
• Support students individually or in small groups
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe learning environment
• Prepare classroom materials and learning resources
• Supervise students during class activities, breaks, and transitions
• Assist with grading, record-keeping, and student progress tracking
• Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents when required
• Support students with special needs as directed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma required; teaching certification or education coursework preferred
• Previous experience working with children is an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for education
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Basic computer and organizational skills
