Job Purpose:
To support the Mother Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children from Nursery to UKG, and to assist in their overall academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
Key Responsibilities:
Classroom & Teaching Support:
- Assist the Mother Teacher in conducting daily classroom activities and lessons.
- Support children during worksheets, art & craft, play activities, storytelling, and group work.
- Provide individual attention to children who need additional support.
- Help in preparing teaching aids and learning materials.
Child Care & Well-Being:
- Ensure the safety, hygiene, and well-being of children at all times.
- Assist children with self-care activities such as eating, hand-washing, toileting, and organizing their belongings.
- Offer emotional support and comfort to help children feel secure and confident.
Classroom Management:
- Support classroom discipline using positive and age-appropriate methods.
- Assist in maintaining classroom routines and smooth transitions between activities.
- Help keep the classroom clean, organized, and child-friendly.
Assessment & Documentation Support:
- Assist in observing and recording children’s progress and behavior.
- Help maintain student files, worksheets, and portfolios.
- Support classroom displays and documentation work.
Parent & School Coordination:
- Support the Mother Teacher during parent interactions, meetings, and school events.
- Communicate politely and professionally with parents as guided by the Mother Teacher.
- Coordinate with support staff for smooth daily operations.
Administrative & Other Duties:
- Follow school policies, safety norms, and child protection guidelines.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school activities.
- Carry out additional responsibilities assigned by the school administration.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Graduate.
- Certification or training in ECCE / NTT / Montessori preferred.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a pre-primary or early childhood setup preferred.
- Freshers with relevant training and a positive attitude towards children may apply.
Skills & Competencies:
- Warm, caring, and patient attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of early childhood education.
- Strong organizational and classroom support skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
