Assistant Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. Responsibilities

  • Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards such as Montessori or preschool frameworks.
  • Support children’s learning in literacy education, math activities, and other core subjects through engaging instructional techniques.
  • Help manage classroom behavior by applying effective behavior management strategies and promoting positive social interactions.
  • Provide attentive childcare and toddler care, ensuring safety, comfort, and emotional support for all students.
  • Aid in classroom organization, including preparing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining a clean environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop individualized education plans for children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children’s progress and behavioral updates to foster strong home-school connections.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and classroom management techniques.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development for literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management strategies.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and families.
  • Ability to support toddlers’ care needs and adapt activities for diverse learners.
  • Certification or training in special education or early childhood education is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for professional growth is essential. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
