Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards such as Montessori or preschool frameworks.
- Support children’s learning in literacy education, math activities, and other core subjects through engaging instructional techniques.
- Help manage classroom behavior by applying effective behavior management strategies and promoting positive social interactions.
- Provide attentive childcare and toddler care, ensuring safety, comfort, and emotional support for all students.
- Aid in classroom organization, including preparing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop individualized education plans for children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children’s progress and behavioral updates to foster strong home-school connections.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and classroom management techniques.
- Familiarity with curriculum development for literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management strategies.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and families.
- Ability to support toddlers’ care needs and adapt activities for diverse learners.
- Certification or training in special education or early childhood education is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for professional growth is essential.
