Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities that promote infants’ physical, emotional, and cognitive development
- Provide attentive care to infants, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and supervising playtime
- Support classroom routines such as nap times, diaper changes, and meal times with patience and consistency
- Engage with children through age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration and learning
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive, inclusive atmosphere that supports individual needs and behaviors
Experience
- Prior experience working with infants or toddlers preferred
- Familiarity with infant developmental milestones and age-appropriate practices
- Experience with behavior management strategies to support positive social interactions
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and engage in active caregiving throughout the day
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced childcare environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
