Assistant Teacher-Infants, Toddler, Preschool classrooms

We are seeking a caring, dependable and enthusiastic Part-time Preschool Assistant Teacher to support our classroom lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate should be passionate about early childhood education and enjoys working collaboratively to support the developmental growth of young children. We have part-time positions available in our Infant, Toddler and Preschool classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age appropriate lessons and activities.
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals and rest time.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Follow all licensing regulations and health/safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
• CDA, ECE coursework, or degree in Early childhood education (preferred)
• Previous experience working with young children (REQUIRED)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patient, energetic, and nurturing demeanor
• Ability to lift and actively engage with children.
