Assistant Teacher / Nanny

JOB TITLE :Assistant Teacher

LOCATION : Abu Dhabi

JOB DESCRIPTION :
We are seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Teacher to support our lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will assist with classroom activities, supervise students, and help with personal care routines such as washroom trips and hygiene.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Support the lead teacher in planning and delivering lessons and activities.
• Supervise students during class, recess, and other school activities.
• Assist students with personal care needs, including washroom visits and handwashing.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support for students needing extra guidance.
• Encourage positive behavior and assist with classroom management.
• Prepare teaching materials and maintain a clean, organized classroom.
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the lead teacher.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or equivalent.
• Experience in early childhood education, classroom assistance, or childcare preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy.
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate care.
• Ability to assist students with personal care needs respectfully and safely.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
