Assistant Teacher, Preschool, FULL - TIME (9-6)

We are a licensed preschool in a church setting looking to add an awesome Assistant Teacher to our team!

Responsibilities:

• Help children grow in the awareness of God’s love and strengthen Christian values through Bible stories, prayer and song.
• Assist children in the exploration of the world around them discovering science, nature, weather, animals and the 4 seasons, along with shapes, colors, letters and numbers.
• Facilitate the enjoyment of creative expression through music and rhythm, arts and crafts, and role play.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom consistent with health and safety standards.

Skills:

• Experience working with children preferred.
• Understanding of safety and sanitation guidelines for classroom
• Knowledge of best practices and the ability to engage children with healthy mental and emotional development
• Interact with children in a positive and loving manner
• Communicate effectively with parents
• Certification in CPR and First Aid

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
