Assistant Teacher (Toddlers)

Little Puzzlers Child Care Center, Inc. has an immediate and exciting opportunity for an energetic, qualified Assistant Toddler Teacher! Come and make a difference in the lives of young children following Parent Aware best practice and the Creative Curriculum in a beautiful 4 Star Parent Aware Rated Center!

Our ideal candidate will be:

• Energetic, outgoing, nurturing, and have a love of working with children!
• Able to handle stressful and challenging situations
• Flexible and adapt to the needs of the children
• Able to work Monday – Friday, 40+ hours a week between the hours of 6:30AM – 6:00PM, No evenings or weekends! We are closed 9 holidays

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Caring for children, including changing diapers, always maintaining a safe environment by adhering to program policies and Licensing rule
• Assisting the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans, adapting for individual learning.
• Maintain the necessary training to meet licensing requirements
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the job: lifting up to 30lbs, getting up and down from the floor, move quickly, work both inside and outside.
• Certified in CPR and First Aid or willing to become certified
• Be punctual and reliable
• Have excellent English and communication skills

Qualified Applicant must meet MN Rule 3 requirements for an Assistant Teacher including the necessary college credits and experience in a licensed childcare center. This is a full-time position.
