Responsibilities
- Support lead teachers by implementing lesson plans focused on early childhood development, literacy, math, and social-emotional skills.
- Assist with classroom management to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Work with children individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives and provide personalized mentoring.
- Help organize classroom materials, prepare educational activities, and ensure all resources are ready for daily lessons.
- Supervise children during activities, transitions, meals, and outdoor play to promote safety and positive behavior management.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members to support student progress and classroom harmony.
- Adapt quickly to different classrooms and age groups as needed, providing consistent support across multiple settings.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development and Montessori or similar teaching philosophies.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and students confidently.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is a plus.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude and energetic presence.
- Relevant certifications in childcare, special education, or tutoring are advantageous but not mandatory; ongoing training opportunities are available.
