Assistant Video Editor

You’ll be joining a dedicated, focused Creative team as a part of Vobile’s Channel Management Department. You'll work with our Manager of Creative Operations and Post Production Supervisors to create videos for YouTube and other social platforms from our entertainment partners’ library of content. Our ideal candidate is someone with a love of movies and television that can responsibly and reliably support our team of editors with a variety of organizational tasks designed to improve their daily workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist Jr. Editors, Lead Editors, and Post Production Supervisors with daily creative tasks
• Conduct and share research for custom video requests
• Support the team in sourcing, ordering and availing files
• Maintain file organization across our storage solutions by creating logs and labeling clips
• Organize footage for the editing team. Establish a clear organizational structure for folders and bins
• Assist in building projects and updating project trackers
• QC edits for correct codecs, resolutions, and frame rates
• Assist in the final delivery of completed files to client-specified storage locations

Qualifications

• Experience with video editing tools and social platforms
• Experience with Adobe Premiere or Final Cut
• Experience with file and task management softwares
• Tech-savvy and eager to learn new software
• Passion for television and movies
• Deep understanding of social format trends
• Knowledge of YouTube and/or other social platforms
• Comfortable with meeting deadlines
• A positive, collaborative, and reliable person
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once
