Job Summary
The Warehouse Assistant Manager supports the Warehouse/Fleet Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, inventory control, purchasing coordination, and fleet readiness. This role is responsible for executing processes, maintaining system accuracy, and ensuring the warehouse runs efficiently to support field operations. The Assistant Manager serves as a hands-on leader, helping to enforce standards, resolve day-to-day operational issues, and ensure that technicians and departments are fully supported with materials, tools, and fleet readiness.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control
- Assist in managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and efficiency
- Execute inventory control processes, including cycle counts and stock replenishment
- Maintain accurate inventory levels in ServiceTitan
- Support truck stock standardization and replenishment across all departments
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, and overstock issues
- Assist with material returns and warranty tracking
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials, especially high-value items

Purchasing & Vendor Coordination
- Support purchasing activities including order placement, tracking, and receiving
- Coordinate with vendors on deliveries, returns, and order discrepancies
- Assist in maintaining optimal stock levels of core inventory items
- Help identify cost-saving opportunities and report pricing inconsistencies
- Ensure timely and accurate receiving of materials into inventory systems

Fleet Support & Coordination
- Assist with tracking vehicle maintenance schedules and ensuring compliance
- Help coordinate vehicle inspections, cleanliness, and readiness
- Support installation and tracking of GPS, cameras, and fleet equipment
- Assist in documenting vehicle damage, incidents, and maintenance records
- Ensure new vehicles are properly equipped and ready for deployment

Material Logistics & Field Support
- Coordinate material staging and delivery for scheduled jobs
- Assist in fulfilling emergency material requests from field teams
- Support job site deliveries when needed to maintain project timelines
- Act as a point of contact for technicians needing warehouse assistance

Systems & Process Execution
- Maintain accurate data entry in ServiceTitan (inventory, transfers, adjustments)
- Assist in reconciling purchase orders, receipts, and inventory movements
- Run and review inventory and purchasing reports for accuracy
- Ensure adherence to company processes and inventory controls

Leadership & Team Support
- Provide day-to-day supervision of warehouse staff
- Train and onboard new warehouse personnel
- Enforce company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
- Lead by example with accountability, work ethic, and attention to detail
- Support the Warehouse Manager in implementing process improvements

Qualifications
Required
- 2–4 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics operations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience with inventory systems or field service software (ServiceTitan preferred)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience in home services (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or similar industry)
- Familiarity with fleet coordination or vehicle management

Reporting Structure
- Reports directly to: Warehouse/Fleet Manager
- Works closely with: Department Managers, Technicians, Dispatch, and Purchasing
Work Environment
- Warehouse and office setting
- Frequent standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and material handling
- Occasional job site visits and vendor travel
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
