Sage Bird is searching for an enthusiastic candidate who is eager to work in our production facility making wine & cider. We believe in crafting cider using different approaches both traditional and modern, drawing on the experiences and techniques from cider, wine, and brewing industries. As an employee at Sage Bird you can expect to be a part of making everything from a traditional Dry English style cider to experimenting with various botanicals, barrel aging and more.
This position will receive training and provide assistance in all aspects of the production process, including but not limited to; off loading juice, cleaning, monitoring fermentation, transferring product using pumps, and packaging.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds and be able to team lift up to 165 pounds.
Work Environment:
We are a very small cidery using the space we have to maximum efficiency. The noise level in the work environment is moderate most of the time. Temperatures vary seasonally in work areas.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
