Assistant/Associate Professor Clinical Psychology

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and student supervision in Clinical Psychology and related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Clinical Psychology and related disciplines.
• Develop and update course materials in accordance with international academic standards.
• Conduct high-quality research and publish regularly in Scopus-indexed journals, preferably in Q1 and Q2 ranked journals.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects and theses.
• Participate in curriculum development, accreditation, and quality assurance activities.
• Engage in academic advising, student mentoring, and community service initiatives.
• Collaborate with faculty members on interdisciplinary research projects and grant applications.
• Contribute to departmental, college, and university committees.

Qualifications

• PhD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, depending on qualifications and experience.
• Strong record of scholarly publications in Scopus-indexed journals, with preference given to candidates with publications in Q1 and Q2 journals.
• Evidence of active research and a clear research agenda.
• University-level teaching experience in Clinical Psychology.
• Experience supervising student research projects and theses.
• Professional clinical experience and relevant licensure are desirable.
• Must be able to teach in both Arabic and English Languages
