The School of Education and Behavioral Studies invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the CACREP-accredited Counselor Education program. The successful candidate will teach in the Master of Science in Counselor Education program and will demonstrate a strong commitment to the Christian faith, excellence in teaching, and a passion for preparing future counselors.
Within the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, faculty members prepare students for clinical licensure through a rigorous academic curriculum, field-based experiential learning, opportunities for personal and professional growth, and intentional mentoring relationships.
This is a full-time position that may be either fully remote or based on our West Palm Beach campus. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Teaches graduate-level counseling courses in evening and online formats, aligned with program needs and faculty expertise.
Evaluates and assesses student performance to ensure growth, professional development, and mastery of counseling knowledge and skills.
Participates in departmental governance, curriculum development, and accreditation activities.
Serves on School and University committees, as assigned.
Must possess knowledge of CACREP standards and accreditation processes.
Strong analytical and communication skills are an essential element of the position.
Prior experience with online and hybrid course delivery, preferred.
2+ years prior teaching experience in higher education and a record of scholarly activity, preferred.
