Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Utilize schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.
- Conduct residential painting, carpentry, welding, and other handyman tasks to maintain the facility’s appearance and safety standards.
- Operate tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose issues and implement repairs.
- Manage maintenance requests using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance history.
- Supervise or assist with facilities projects, including upgrades or renovations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service to residents and staff by addressing maintenance concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within residential or healthcare settings.
- Strong electrical experience with knowledge of schematics, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Mechanical knowledge including plumbing, HVAC systems, welding, and general handyman skills such as painting and carpentry.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
- Supervising or leadership experience is a plus for coordinating maintenance projects or team efforts.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and resident interactions.
