Assisted Living Medication Technician

Braswell's Leisure Manor is looking for 3 med techs:

Med Tech #1: Saturday, Sunday 6:30am-3pm, and Monday, Tuesday 3pm-11pm

Med Tech #2: Wednesday-Sunday 3pm-11pm

Med Tech #3: Friday-Tuesday 11pm-6:30am

Med Tech Duties:

• Set up and assist administering medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Order medications as needed
• Quality patient care
• Documentation of medication administration As a med tech there is always some caregiving involved
• Documentation of resident care and concerns

Responding to emergency bells and sending residents to the hospital as needed

Caregiving Duties:

Assist residents with activities of daily living. Including changing adult briefs, changing clothes, feeding, ambulating and bathing.

Skills:
-Proficiency in medication administration
-Experience working in an assisted living facility or long-term care facility is a plus
-Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines-

As a Medication Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to residents. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work well under pressure will contribute to the overall success of our team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
