Assoc. Attorney - Corporate M&A Private Equity

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, financing documents, and ancillary agreements.
  • Manage and conduct due diligence on target companies and assets.
  • Provide strategic and commercially minded advice to private equity funds, portfolio companies, and other clients on complex M&A transactions and equity financings.
  • Support all aspects of private equity transactions, such as leveraged buyouts, divestitures, and other deal structures.
  • Collaborate with senior associates and partners on deals and manage client relationships and communications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree Cum Laude or better
  • Big Law/AmLaw 100 Experience
  • License to practice in District of Columbia
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Mergers and Acquisitions and/or Private Equity
