About the Position
As the Associate Manager, Payroll Tax Delivery, you will lead a global team responsible for ensuring payroll tax accuracy and compliance for our customers. You will set strategic direction, enhance operational efficiency, and drive high customer satisfaction by ensuring taxes are audited, balanced, and reported correctly. This role requires a strong leadership mindset, the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, and a passion for both team development and process improvement.

• Process Optimization: Leverage automation and technology to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal partners (e.g., Payroll, Compliance, Customer Success) to improve service delivery and resolve complex tax issues.
• Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement: Establish KPIs, dashboards, and quality control measures to drive continuous improvement.
• Team Development and Career Growth: Mentor and develop team members, providing training, feedback, and career growth opportunities.

What would make you really stand out

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience: 5+ years of payroll tax experience, including multi-state tax audits and compliance
• Leadership: Three or more years of experience leading a team in a fast-paced, high-volume payroll tax environment
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, tax agencies, and jurisdictional compliance
• Customer Focus: Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service, drive high NPS, and build lasting client relationships
• Process and Project Management: Experience implementing efficiency improvements, automation, and technology-driven solutions
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex tax issues, provide strategic solutions, and drive resolution
• Collaboration and Communication: Strong ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional stakeholders
