Recruitment Associate

Job Purpose


The Associate will work closely with our Partners based out of the Boyden UK office. The individual will be responsible for the all-round execution of searches and producing detailed search maps for senior executive level mandates.



Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities


Business Development

  • Adapts and creates draft presentation documents, job descriptions, proposals and outlines for review
  • Research companies and markets and create summaries and market intelligence documents
  • Liaise with a range of organisations and entities internally and externally to support the business development process – Practice Leaders, Partners, Third party organisations, clients, candidates and prospects


Business Delivery

  • Prepares assignment specification documentation in consultation with the project leader
  • Sets up assignments and regularly updates our CRM system to ensure that the information stored on the system is accurate and up to date
  • Identifies potential organisations and locations from which to source suitable candidates
  • Carries out research across a range of sources – internal and external
  • Approaches candidates to create an interest in the job role and to acquire up to date CV’s
  • Develops long and short list documentation – CVs, Reports etc.
  • Communicates with the project leader as well as with the client and other Boyden Partners as relevant throughout
  • Contacts candidates to invite for interview’s and manages the logistics involved together with the Support team
  • Actively involved in interviewing candidates together with the Partners and produces detailed candidate reports
  • Tracks client admin and accounts and follows up with internal teams
  • Manages the all-round process of the search from both a candidate and client perspective


Job Competencies


  • An Associate should be mature and culturally sensitive and have strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively with people across all levels of multiple and varied organisations internationally both verbally and in-writing. They should be highly computer literate, have a high attention to detail and a natural ability to organise and plan effectively.
  • We are ideally looking for someone with 2+ years of experience. However, if you do not meet these criteria, please still feel free to apply.
