ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (0 - 3 years' Exp.)

SAN FERNANDO VALLEY DEFENSE FIRM seeks an Attorney with ZERO to 3 years of workers' compensation experience and an active California Bar license.

Individual would be considered who:

• Possesses strong verbal and written communication, research, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Acts with a sense of urgency relating to priorities of the firm and clients
• Possesses good follow-through with tasks

Responsibilities:

• Dictate/draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, deposition summaries, and briefs
• Research and analyze legal issues
• Advise clients on legal matters
• Represent clients in court proceedings
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties
• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations

We are a Workers' Compensation Defense Litigation Firm. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the field of workers' compensation/litigation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
