Associate Attorney

Job Description:

Olson Law Group, a premier civil litigation defense firm in Woodland Hills, is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigator to handle complex insurance defense matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a caseload involving auto liability, general liability, and premises liability defense.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda.
• Develop and execute effective defense strategies, providing sound legal advice to clients.
• Conduct depositions, attend court hearings, and participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with clients, carriers, and colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with billing guidelines while maintaining high productivity.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active California Bar membership in good standing.
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on insurance defense.
• Strong analytical, legal writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and work independently.
• Strong client communication and case management skills.
