Associate Attorney

General practice firm in Beloit, WI seeking a full-time associate attorney. The position requires excellent people skills and the desire to litigate cases in court. Must be capable of independent work. Candidate will be responsible for his/her own files and should have excellent writing, research, and communication skills. Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to work well with staff.

Wisconsin license required, but a second Illinois license is desirable.

Job Summary

Our ideal candidate will be a well-rounded, dynamic, highly-motivated attorney, who is eager to learn and gain valuable experience supporting the firm's established clients while developing new client relations. Strong academic performance and writing skills are required, if there is no practice experience. The opportunity exists for work in numerous areas of the law, including probate, criminal, bankruptcy, family law, personal tax returns, estate planning, and civil litigation. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and established client base.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidate must hold a JD from an ABA approved law school and be an active member of the Wisconsin Bar. Qualified candidates will have excellent academic credentials, top quality work product, an interest in participating in business development efforts and a commitment to exceptional client service.
