Associate Attorney

Andersen Beede Weisenmiller, a boutique law firm specializing in complex bankruptcy, business litigation, and real estate transactions, is seeking an associate attorney to practice in all facets of the firm’s representations. Successful candidates will enjoy opportunities to work on matters including complex bankruptcy cases, commercial real estate leases and purchase agreements, secured financing transactions, commercial litigation, and appellate work. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to make meaningful court appearances as soon as they are ready to do so.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, excellent academic credentials, and strong research, writing, and oral communication skills. Experience practicing bankruptcy, real estate, or commercial litigation is preferred but not required. All candidates must be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment to assist firm partners on substantive work in their respective practice areas. Candidates will be expected to be proactive and work diligently, but can also count on significant mentorship and career development opportunities.

The expected salary range is $100,000 to $125,000 (commensurate with experience), plus bonus. Generous benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance and 401(k) match.

Required Qualifications:

• One to three years of private practice experience
• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school
• Member or pending admittee of the State Bar of Nevada (or willing to sit for the Nevada Bar examination at its next offering)
• Strong research and writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects at the same time
