Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Criminal Defense Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in criminal law, with interest in expanding to other areas of law. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and projects.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.
  • Assist in the development of case strategies and prepare for trials.
  • Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications.

Experience

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Oregon State Bar association is required.
  • Experience or coursework in criminal law is preferred.
  • Strong legal writing skills with a focus on legal drafting.
  • Excellent research abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,919.27 - $150,451.16 per year
