This position is ideal for a lawyer seeking both professional growth and a high quality of life in the Gorge. You’ll work closely with experienced trial and transactional attorneys, gain immediate client-facing responsibilities, and have the support to build your own practice in areas that interest you most.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in litigation, administrative hearings, transactional matters, and estate planning.· Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, estate planning documents, and correspondence.· Conduct legal research, analysis, and case strategy development.· Engage directly with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.· Participate in firm-wide case strategy, mentorship, and community engagement.· Develop a practice in chosen areas while supporting general firm needs.

Qualifications·

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice in Oregon and Washington.
  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters with attention to detail.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in building client relationships.
  • Commitment to teamwork, mentorship, and community involvement

Desired Skills·

  • Litigation experience (motions practice, discovery, or trial prep).
  • Transactional drafting experience (contracts, real estate, business, estate planning).
  • Comfort working with clients across diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Interest in developing subject matter expertise or maintaining a generalist practice.
