Position Summary
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, motivated, and able to manage multiple client matters with confidence. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the firm owner on complex real estate and estate planning transactions, while also developing independent client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, deeds, leases, easements, wills, trusts, and related legal documents
• Advise clients on real estate transactions, title issues, probate administration, and estate planning strategies
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties
• Manage deadlines, court filings, and transactional closings
• Contribute to firm culture by supporting teamwork, efficiency, and client care

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New Mexico Bar (or willingness to become licensed promptly)
• 3–5 years of experience in real estate, estate planning, probate, or business transactions preferred (but we will consider strong candidates with other relevant backgrounds)
• Exceptional legal writing, research, and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing deadlines
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
