Associate Attorney

Van Severen Law Office, S.C. is seeking an Associate Attorney to become a part of our criminal defense team! You will represent clients in various criminal proceedings (trial, appeals, revocations, etc.). Van Severen Law Office, S.C. currently consists of attorneys Ben Van Severen, Mario Fiumefreddo, Brett Bureau, Conner Helvig and Matt Last.

Responsibilities:

• Aggressively represent clients in court or before government agencies
• Prepare and draft documents, motions, and other legally relevant materials
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations

Qualifications: Previous experience in criminal law preferred

• Familiarity with all potential motion issues
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation: Compensation at Van Severen Law Office is commission based. The commission is monthly, and increases based upon your gross income that month. Upon satisfaction of the sales goals (that our associates regularly hit every month), we expect your income to be at or above $96,000.00 over the year. Depending on experience level, we may utilize a hybrid of salary + commission for a period of time.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
