About the Role
We’re seeking an Associate Attorney who is sharp, adaptable, and ready to learn by doing. This role is ideal for a recent law school graduate or newer attorney who wants hands-on experience, real client interaction, and the chance to take on meaningful responsibility from day one. You’ll work closely with the Managing Attorney and our support team, handling a diverse caseload and helping clients navigate some of life’s most complex financial and legal challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and move cases forward across areas such as real estate, probate, bankruptcy, and general civil matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
• Attend hearings, court appearances, and client meetings.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.
• Collaborate with the Managing Attorney to develop strategy and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Maintain organized files and proactive case management practices.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Illinois (or awaiting bar results).
• Strong interest in real estate, bankruptcy, probate, or related practice areas.
• Exceptional work ethic, integrity, and initiative — you take ownership and find solutions.
• Strong writing and research skills; clear communicator.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
