Associate Attorney

Potomac Legal Group is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with General Commercial Litigation experience. Attorneys with Employment and Labor Law experience are also enoucraged to apply.

Maryland Bar membership is required for this position.

Qualifications & Skills for this Position

• Currently licensed (Active) in Maryland.
• 5-7+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience in Breach of Contract Claims, Partnership Disputes, Employment Discrimination, and Restrictive Covenant Enforcement or Defense.
• Experience drafting Operating Agreements, Partnership Agreements, Employment Contracts, Invention Assignment Agreements, and NDAs.
• Ability to conduct initial consultations and provide ongoing legal counseling.
• Demonstrated history of independent case management through all phases of litigation.
• Must be able to appear in court.
• Experience drafting demands, motions, and pleadings.
• Must be able to take and defend depositions.
• Experience preparing for and attending trials, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and mediations.
• Must have excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate well.
