Associate Attorney

Job Title: Mid-Level Real Estate Associate

Location: Manhattan, NY

Salary: $200,000 – $300,000 (Commensurate with experience)

A well-regarded New York law firm on a strong growth trajectory is seeking a Mid-Level Real Estate Associate with solid transactional experience. The team is particularly interested in candidates with borrower-side, purchase and sale, and joint venture experience. Exposure to affordable housing is a plus but not essential.

What You’ll Be Doing:

-Supporting the real estate team on various transactions and projects.

-Drafting and reviewing documents related to deals.

-Assisting with client communications and due diligence.

-Collaborating with colleagues to keep deals moving smoothly.

-Gaining exposure to affordable housing and other specialized real estate matters as needed.

What They're Looking For:

-3–6 years of real estate transactional experience, ideally with a focus on borrower-side work.

-Strong background in JV, purchase and sale, and financing transactions.

-Exposure to affordable housing (e.g., LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds, agency finance) is a plus.

-Excellent drafting skills, commercial judgment, and a proactive, collaborative approach.

-Admission to the New York Bar.
