Associate Attorney

Jon Webster Law Group, APC is seeking a person to fill the position of Litigation Associate. This person must have three years of active litigation experience as a licensed, California attorney. The successful applicant will work independently in a manner that enhances our collaborative environment and produces results for our clients. Adept time management and the ability to maintain good humor under the stress of litigation are highly valued. Being a great listener, a respectful communicator and a team player are essential.

Our Firm:

We are a small, established law firm. For the past 25-years, we have been located in Concord in the East Bay of San Francisco. We represent small businesses, charter schools and individuals in business, education, wage and hour, employment, and real property matters. We have clients throughout California.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have demonstrated the following:

• Licensed to practice law in California for at least three years.
• A history of critical and strategic thinking in crafting pleadings.
• A record of thoughtfully responding to and drafting discovery.
• Excellence in communicating with team members, clients and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for independently and proficiently

• Conducting productive legal and factual research.
• Drafting effective pleadings.
• Initiating and responding to discovery.
• Arguing motions and pre-trial organization.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
