We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist senior attorneys in managing cases, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and representing clients in various matters. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent writing ability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on statutes, case law, and regulations.
- Draft legal memoranda, motions, briefs, pleadings, and other court filings.
- Assist with all phases of case management, including discovery, document review, and trial preparation.
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions.
- Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and support case strategy.
- Draft correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
- Attend and participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and routine court appearances.
- Support senior attorneys in developing case strategies and preparing for trial or settlement.
- Review, draft, and revise contracts or transactional documents as needed (depending on practice area).
- Maintain accurate and timely billing records in accordance with firm policies.
- Stay current with legal developments relevant to assigned practice areas and fulfill CLE requirements.
- Collaborate with partners, associates, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case workflow.
- Uphold all ethical, confidentiality, and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in the state of practice (or ability to obtain admission promptly).
- 0–5 years of relevant legal experience (new attorneys and laterals welcome).
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively.
- Professional demeanor and commitment to client service.
- Proficiency with legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and standard office software.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
