A nationally respected litigation practice is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its General Liability Defense group in the Austin office. The team handles a broad range of matters, including personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, product liability, trucking and transportation, professional liability, and other complex litigation issues.

This opportunity is ideal for attorneys looking to strengthen their litigation skills, take on meaningful case responsibilities, and collaborate with experienced trial attorneys who emphasize mentorship, teamwork, and professional development. The role offers a hybrid work schedule that supports both remote and in-office flexibility.

What You’ll Do

In this position, you will:

• Manage your own caseload with guidance and oversight from senior attorneys
• Draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, and oversee discovery
• Make court appearances and participate actively in trial work
• Collaborate with sophisticated clients on complex, high-stakes matters

What We’re Looking For

• Active Texas Bar license
• At least 2 years of civil defense litigation experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and motion practice skills
• Experience conducting depositions and handling key litigation tasks
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities
• A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a desire for continued growth

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
