Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our reputable law firm. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various legal disciplines, including estate planning, environmental law, family law, and litigation. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case preparation and strategy.
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, contracts, and memoranda with precision and clarity.
- Manage a caseload across multiple practice areas such as estate planning, immigration law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, and patent law.
- Assist in negotiations with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Prepare for and participate in court proceedings, hearings, and client meetings.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all legal administrative procedures.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters and legal strategies.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar or eligibility for admission.
- Proven experience or strong interest in estate planning, environmental law, family law, or litigation is preferred.
- Proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex legal issues across multiple practice areas including immigration law and securities law.
- Legal drafting experience coupled with administrative skills relevant to a busy law office environment.
- Demonstrated research capabilities and familiarity with legal databases like Westlaw and LexisNexis are essential.

- Real estate background is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
