Associate Attorney

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our reputable law firm. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various legal disciplines, including family law, juvenile dependency, estate planning, probate, litigation, and criminal law. Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research utilizing tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development and legal analysis.
• Draft and review legal documents, including forms, pleadings, briefs, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
• Manage a caseload across multiple practice areas including family law, juvenile dependency, estate planning, probate, litigation, and criminal law.
• Negotiate settlements and legal agreements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Advise clients on legal rights and obligations across various practice areas by providing clear and strategic counsel.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the law office to ensure compliance with legal standards and firm policies.
• Maintain meticulous records of case files and document interactions using legal administrative experience.
• Stay current on relevant laws and regulations through ongoing research and professional development activities.

Skills

• Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for comprehensive legal analysis.
• Timely and Reliable attendance at court to competently advocate on behalf of client's cases.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear legal drafting tailored to specific cases.
• Effective negotiation skills to advocate for clients’ interests successfully.
• Familiarity with legal administrative processes and documentation management within a busy Law office setting.
• Exceptional analytical skills combined with attention to detail to interpret complex legal issues accurately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $88,863.62 - $107,018.55 per year
